TW Mobile Engineering recently made the delivery of 76 Ford Crown Vic Patrol vehicles to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

The San Diego Sheriff's Department has trusted TW Mobile Engineering to handle their fleet outfitting since 2003.

Over the past 5 years TW Engineering has helped the department deploy new technologies such as mobile data terminals, LED lighting, and most recently the new Motorola HPD-1000 modem.

This newest batch of vehicles boasts many improvements over previous builds:

• a more ergonomic equipment console
• computer mounts for improved visibility
• power management systems to prevent battery drain.

These Crown Victoria police cruisers will team with a fleet of Rural Patrol SUVs to keep San Diego communities safe.
